Controls Company (ECCO) Manufactures warning lights (strobe, rotating, flashing and light bars), back-up alarms (light, medium & heavy-duty and "smart alarms" all of which adjust to maintain a minimum of 5 db above noise level) and obstacle detection systems (sensors and cameras). Founded in 1972, ECCO was the first company founded to specifically manufacture warning lights and is registered to ISO 9001 international quality standards. A leader in "industry firsts," ECCO was the first to manufacture amber warning lights and developed and produced "The Smart Alarm," (first self-adjusting back-up alarm); ECCO is also the first and only company to offer life-of-the-vehicle warranty on heavy duty back-up alarms, and the first to develop a strobe light with a field selectable flash rate and light intensity adjustment. In addition, ECCO developed the "First Reverse Motion Sensor," which activates the alarm every time your vehicle moves backward... in any gear... ignition on or off. ECCO's back-up alarms and warning lights are sealed against dust, moisture, and vibration. Heavy duty alarms come with a lifetime warranty. Light bars meet SAE J1318 Class I, II, or III standards and are available with a variety of mounting options. Detection systems include an in-cab alert module with an adjustable audio alert that meets SAE J1455 & J113 criteria. ECCO will also put customer specified connectors onto any of their products.
